2025 Impact Report Shows Soluna Continuing to Expand Reach and Impact

20 April 2026

Kooth (AIM: KOO), a leading provider of digital mental health services, announces the publication of the State of California Department of Health Care Services Impact Report on the Behavioral Health Virtual Services program, a central component of the State's Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative.

Kooth welcomes this independent validation of the impact Soluna is delivering to young people across California. The report presents compelling evidence across the key dimensions that matter most in scaling digital mental health: removing barriers to access and therefore reaching young people early as well as those who would otherwise go without support, and delivering clinical effectiveness safely and cost efficiently.

The report documents the continued expansion of Soluna's reach and impact across California since its 2024 launch. Critically, it also highlights forthcoming independent research from Northwestern University's Lab for Scalable Mental Health confirming significant and sustained improvements in wellbeing among Soluna users – regardless of background, identity or platform behaviour. This evidence base reinforces what Kooth has consistently demonstrated: that high-quality early mental health support can be delivered safely, at scale, and at an affordable cost.

Kate Newhouse, CEO of Kooth, said:
“The California Department of Health Care Services' 2025 Impact Report demonstrates the tangible benefit Soluna is delivering to young people across the State. We have shown that Kooth’s model of providing safe, cost-effective early mental health support can be delivered at scale, with meaningful and sustained outcomes for individuals and communities. The Impact Report is welcome evidence that our model works, and that it can be replicated. We look forward to building on this progress as part of our ongoing collaboration with DHCS, as well as delivering on our vision to expand Soluna’s impact across the US and UK.”
